Pre-Assessment:My pre-test for this unit consists of a mini-quiz with questions about things the students have already learned and a few questions about the new material so I can see what the students already know. The students also complete a pre-test of sorts before each lesson. This may take the form of a bellwork assignment or a discussion about the material learned the previous day.
Post-Assessment:The post-test for this unit is a cumulative unit project in which the students will create a booklet with all of the main concepts and processes along with numerous examples. A complete list of instructions and a rubric is included in the link.

Assessments:The assessments that I have throughout my lessons take on various forms. In the lessons I tried to assess the students many times throughout a lesson, whether it by asking questions or giving them a worksheet as guided practice. These are just a few examples:

Assessments
I used a variety of assessments throughout my unit. The students are assessed in some way at the end of every lesson and several times throughout my lessons I ask the students to brainstorm and tell me what they know about topics. The students also create a unit project and have a quiz midway through the unit. These assessments are in many forms: multiple choice, short answer, fill-in-the-blank and true or false.
